The Henry & Glenn X-mas Cartoon will be playing at the Heavy Metal Film Festival today!
It will be playing before a new documentary Blood, Sweat and Vinyl: DIY in the 21st Century. Made over the course of 5 years by film-maker Kenneth Thomas, this film focuses on three important, independent record labels and the artists behind them: Hydra Head Records, Neurot Records and Constellation Records. I've seen parts of the film (I'm actually in it briefly) and it looks to be an interesting portrait of the underground music scene and how unconventional artists survive outside of the mainstream music industry.
