Art Auction for Animals!

Almost forgot to post this (my brain is plagued by fever this week).

As part of the Let Live Conference in Portland, OR, Josh from Herbivore has organized an art auction that benefits animal charities.

I have three pieces being auctioned:
the original drawing for my Herbivore t-shirt

the original drawing for my Vegan Police t-shirt

and the original artwork for my ISIS t-shirt

The art is on view at Portabello Restaurant (which has to be the best vegan Italian food I've ever had).

If you're in Portland - GO NOW!

A bunch of other great artists will be there, too.

In the hometown of the amazing SKINNER! And thanks to Anthony Leano for all his hard work putting this fun show together.

See you there!

Busy busy busy

Here's a few things going on...

I was a guest on my pal's podcast debut episode. You can here us ramble on about comics, DIY, music, growing up in Texas, and living in LA with gunslinging neighbors. Listen to the first episode of Shakeytown Radio here.

Sean Collins gives my Neely... Creeps! book a really nice review here.

"People ought to be studying that lush midnight blue background in Adventures Into Terror, that sickly purple twilight in Beware the Clutching Hand and Unearthly Spectaculars, the candlelight effect giving way to a rich orange shadow in Creepy #79. That the comic's paper holds them as well as it does is a testament to Neely's skill as a self-publisher in addition to his instincts as a colorist."

Go buy it here.

And I'll be at Indy Euphoria in Sacramento this weekend. I really like this show, and I want everyone near Sacramento to go check it out. Lots of good cartoonists and comics to see. More info is on this site. See you there!

Here's a nice, short review at The Comics Journal of my recent book Neely Covers Comics to Give You the Creeps!

Interviewed by The Vegan Police!

I've been doing a lot of interviews lately... This one is with the Vegan Police and it was fun. I designed a t-shirt (the above image) for a fund-raiser they put together. You can order it here.
