Stress Free San Diego!

This week is the San Diego Movie Marketing Convention. I'm sitting here drinking my morning tea and reading all the blogs about what's happening at SDCC, and I'm so happy to not have a table this year, it's amazing! (If you wanna read more about why, you can read my post-comicon blog entry from last year.)

HOWEVER, even though I will not have a booth this year, I will be there, and I will have The Wolf with me! Here's how to find me:

I will be signing copies of The Wolf
Thursday, June 21 - 4:30 - 5 pm
Friday, June 22 - 4:30 - 5 pm
at booth #114

I'm not sure where that is or how it's listed in the program, but it's the Nuclear Blast Records/Decibel Magazine booth - look for me under a giant poster of my Decibel cover:

If you can't make it to one of the signings, you may find me wandering about with a camera and a backpack full of Wolves. I'll probably be mostly hanging out around friends' tables like Grass Hut Gallery (booth 4739) or Patrick Morgan's, or Ed Luce's tables, browsing the indie publishers like Fantagraphics, Drawn & Quarterly and the small press area, digging through longboxes of old horror comics... or maybe even watching the melee tournaments outside.

Good luck. Godspeed. And I hope to see you there.

A couple of things...

1) I did the cover art for Decibel Magazine #82!
It should hit newstands this month.
There is also an article that profiles many cartoonists who are also into metal. I'm one of them.
Order a copy here.

Here's a short interview about the cover.

2) There's a photography book of portraits of artists, cartoonists and graffiti dudes called Heroes and Villains by Roman Cho and Tatiana Wills. One of those portraits is me:

Get the book here. It's fancy and limited edition.

Check the news stands...

The new issue of Decibel Magazine not only has a cover story on Glenn Danzig, it also has a full page review of Henry & Glenn Forever. Pick up the print version at your news stand.

Interview with Decibel Magazine!

If I could go back in time and tell my 14 yr old self that in the future I'd be interviewed by a magazine that normally covers the likes of Megadeth, Carcass, Exodus and Cannibal Corpse, I'm sure 14-yr-old Tom would say "Get the fuck out of my room you creepy old man!" And then 14-yr-old Tom would crank "Chopped in Half" by Obituary on his stereo and go back to drawing chaotic evil druids slaying goblins in his notebook.

Read my interview with the Decibel Magazine Blog here.
